How so?? Cos we have magpies where we stay and they always get on my b/fs (Gemini) nerve and they instantly irritate him when he spots one and tries to chase them away. lol.

something about their eyes being bird-like and roving, darting back and forth, from here to there- filled with curiousity and very child-like wonder or astonishment, something like that.

I could see the resemblance both are great talkers, but no I haven't heard or read that anywhere, as of yet, now I will purposely look for it.
I didnt even know what a magpie was....I knew I heard it before and thats what I call my g/f Maggie...I will have to look into that
We gems have our own bird? Really??!! i'm going to have to learn everything about them! :-)
Actually have not heard this. It makes me think of the two cartoon magpie birds (from the 30's), can't remember their names.
