Have you ever tried Magi Astrology?!

Answers: http://www.magiastrology.com/heliocentri...

it's certainly interesting; i've become a leo earth sign... (whatever that means), and my sexy mars that was in scorpio moved over to libra... 0_0!!
gasp!
but i'm having trouble reading the chart since there's no house, no ascendant, descendant, MC or IC... while this is certainly interesting, unless there were some experts explaining this to me, i wouldn't understand it.

Do you have an actual question?

***okey dokey. If your only question have I tried it, the answer is yes. have a nice day.

No and don't intend to, because according to one astrologer the possible readings for the most basic chart on someone is virtually infinite. In other words, astrology is guessing games and not scientific or logical at all.

According to astrologers your fate is either determined by the stars' positions or only influenced them. But what is the evidence for that besides mere opinions?

Yes, there are systems, but which one is right? And which of the countless variables in each system is the right one to choose? Do all astrology books agree? If not, how can you determine which is the right one? Is there any evidence that they wrong? For example, are there any people who have a personality that doesn't match their sign? If so, why believe that stars have anything to do with what your personality is then?

Like many con-artists who claim to be psychic, astrologers will tell you vague things which can apply to anyone or during a certain time in their life. Personalities don't always stay the same and sometimes people want the astrologer to be right so they behave the way the astrologer says they should. It's like when a doctor tells you that you that you are sick with something, and then you begin to notice any pain you have more than you would have and stress over it more than if you hadn't been told you were sick, and sometimes doctors are wrong, so they can't always be trusted. The Bible however, can, sometimes though translations have mistakes, and some ancient copies even have a few mistakes, but they aren't a big deal usually.

God too spoke badly of astrology and explained why a person sometimes is accurate when it was impossible to do so without what seems like supernatural help:

"If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, 'Let us go after other gods,' which you have not known, 'and let us serve them,' [then] you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For Yahweh your God is testing you, to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after Yahweh your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, [that prophet of dreamer tries] to make you leave the way in which Yahweh your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst." - Deuteronomy 13:1-5

So, I wouldn't rely on astrology when other astrologers admit it mere chance if they happen to get anything right. Use logical methods to get through life instead, not guesses in the dark.

Additional info is in my profile.

Remember, I'm allowed to have my beliefs too, or must I agree only with what you believe? I think not.

How accurate and how is this determined? Magi is just the name of society. Also the Magi were not Hebrews. This is a sun-center based astrology, not favored here. The astrologers are said to be from ancient Hebrew prophet "times" not ancient Hebrew astrologers.

When it comes to alleged accuracy with prophesies in the Bible, there are no independent confirmations. In your own religion, your predictions always come true. But the Hebrews did not practice astrology and worship the stars like other cultures.

God command His people, the nation of Israel not to practice astrology by looking at "signs of the heavens." God calls such "signs" delusions:

Thus says the Lord, "Do not learn the way of the nations, And do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens Although the nations are terrified by them; For the customs of the peoples are delusion... (Jeremiah 10:2-3)

The Old Testament shows that astrology is always looked on with a negative attitude. The Book of Daniel mocks the Babylon King Nebuchadnezzar for his belief.

There is no reason why this type of astrology is any better (or worse) than the others.
