Question: Why is the majority of the young people so materialistic!?
I can't even imagine myself being obsessed with money or material posessions!.!.!. and I'm supposed to still be youth!.
So, what makes me different from all those others!?

Probably because they don't understand the value of anything,
my daughter thought I earned 10,000 per month (I wish) and she's 16!.
Her idea of money and value is way out, this I blame on the schools and govenments who do nothing to discourage kids to think money grows on trees!.
It is a product of commercialist and disposable society!.
I have tryed my best to explain to her, but she doesn't seem to understand!.
When this generation of kids hits adulthood and tries to sustain their life style they will get a big shock!.

As far as humans go, today, parents have a tendency to spoil their children!. Everything is made easy for kids!. Even school teachers have tendencies to be lenient!. With possessions being thrown at children left and right, it is only natural, as unfortunate as it is, for the next step to be competition over who has better possessions, whether you have a cell phone, or an iphone, or whether you have Walmart clothes or Active clothes!. Media is also fueling this trend!. MTV shows like Super Sweet Sixteen, or Pimp My Ride are forcing kids to believe that materialism is "cool"Www@Enter-QA@Com

Economic theory in democratic countries are based on ever increasing consumption!.So society is encouraged to consume!.Giving them a mindset of materialism makes them buy loads of unecessary goods!.So don't blame them, blame democracy,they are doing what the goverment has brainwashed them to do!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it has nothing to do with astrology, though over the next few years, I expect it to get dramatically worse!.
Media encourages valuation of things, physical beauty, monetary gain, and casual relationships over valuing people, spiritual beauty, moral gain, and long-term, stable relationships!.!.

Kids are set in front of the television to watch whatever happens to be on at an early age!.!.!.!.before many can even talk!.!.!.!.since children are basically little sponges, those virtues are programmed into them from shortly after birth!.!.!.
So maybe Uranus, the father of inspiration and invention, was partly to blame for the invention of the television!.!.

My sign makes me extremely compassionate, I can see easily through others who are trying to cover up their true selves through material things!. I feel the suffering in the world very deeply; if I do not stayed centered I can get very depressed!.
I have many family members who are obsessed with money and material things--one home for me thanks, if I had the extra money, a lot less children would not go hungry in the world!.

I do dream of swimming in a pool of money !.!.!.!.!.!.lol!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but i am not obsessed!. I dont like money , but I like what it can do!. Let see apart from allowing me to go shopping , paying for my rent fee , entertainment fee , this fee and that fee and every fee i can think of!.!.!.!.To be honest, I can live really fine with like 50,000 a year no problem , but I just like to have much more so i can do charities and donations!.!.!.!.I am a cancer lol, I always need security in eevrything to feel safe!.!.what if one day one of my friends needs me financially , I would have something to help them !.!.Oh and I could take care of my partner too , I am sure my partner will contribute but I am also fine if she/he wanna stay home , and giving your partner a prosperious life isnt a bad thing hey ;) !.
