We know water puts out fire; how does that correspond with astrology?!

Um, think about it!.!.!.if water acted like fuel to a fire, then firefighters would be fighting fires with dirt instead of water hoses, wouldn't they!? So that pretty much discredits the first answer!. When fire and water meet there is steam----water can boil----usually the case when a fire sign gets them cranked up!. Water signs "put out" fire signs because fire wants to have fun and put themselves out there and water is more content with one on one!. Water puts a damper on fire, it does not feed it!. It may be able to douse the fire to the point of contentment, but fire can break free without warning and it is hard for water to keep up!. This applies to astrology!.

You want facts!? In reality the "elements" are not even elements!. Water is actually a molecule and an ash!. When you burn hydrogen (a flammable gas) the ash is water (H2O)!.
