Why are the 4th, 8th and 12th house Unfortunate?!
Question: Why are the 4th, 8th and 12th house Unfortunate!?
Answers:
Ok I will have a go!.!.!.try to anyway although I have not heard of this term before!.
In the worst scenarios!.
Let's look at a chart like a house for example :
The roof could be the 10th house!.
The ascendant could be the door!.
The backgarden, more private and secluded could be the descendant!.
Now let's to down inside the house and the 4th house would represent the cave ( or basement in Canada)!.
Some might look pretty but others a real mess!. If you get visitors, normally you do not show the cave unless there is something to be pround of or it is your major area of work, entertaining etc ( referring to Canadian ex)!.
The chart is like an onion or an artichoke!. In the very heart is the core : the 4th house!.
Now it is also the house of the unconscious, and memories from past of childhood could be repressed in there!. Or at least the creating some king of effect into other planets in the chart!. That is where we "bury" unpleasant memories!. In a way the fourth house if badly aspected can be very hard to understand by itself unless you know where the person comes from!.
The 12th!.!.
The house of self-undoing, hidden enemies, secrets, behind the scene matters ( unlike the 7th : open enemies)!.
Unless the person has come to know him/herself very well and has chosen to take on the higher qualities of that house : fusion, spirituality etc !.!.!.
I have seen that lots of people have lots of problems in the 12th house!. A sun position in there is rejecting the ego and usually project the ascendant!. Lots of inner doubt!. Quite a few people having mars or saturn in the 12th have problems with relationships!. Idealisation but the person does turn out to be totally different from what they imagine!.
The 8th !? Not too sure!.!.could be an awful of lot of soul searching or having to give up whatever they have in that house!.!.!.scorpio!.!.!.got to die before being born again!.
Water houses could be stifling!. Water wins at the end, corroding all over elements!.
There could be so may ways!.!.
Water drowns all over signs!.
Water could feed earth signs!.
Air can either fan Fire or extinguish it!.
Fire could give a very strong wind!.
Earth could damper the Fire element!.
etc!.
There is no absolute!.!.
In whatever person's chart!.!.!.!.sometimes the environment wins over inner structure or vice versa!.

the 4th house isnt unfortunate at all !. It represents family and one's roots!. The place where all life begins!. It is hidden ( IC ), but it is not bad
The 8th house, since it associates with death , people think it is unfortunate!.!.!.!.but it also represents other things like joint properties, shares and tax, transformation !.!.!.!.!.!.which is not always bad
The 12th house is traditionally thought of as a mental house , and not in a good way!. It is still not well understood because the house represents something more than physical bodies, it is spiritual , something humans dont quite understand and can not take a grip on!. Probably because of the murky-ness associated with them, emotional denial and reactions and habits and projections all fall under those houses, and those are "dirty" things!.!.!.!.hard to look at!.!.!.smell funny!. :-)
