It would be nice if YA would pull the question off the board, hold it, and contact the person via email before actually removing it permanently, but, truthfully, that would cost more money and staff, and then YA probably wouldn't be free of cost!.!.!.
I'm assuming that YA actually reviews the questions before they delete to see if it violates their CG, but I suppose they could be understaffed and have to go by "group consensus"!.
Considering the strictness of the CG, especially on the "chatting" issue, I'm suprised more answers aren't deleted!. Considering this board is supposed to be strictly Q/A, there's a lot of "bonding" and "hey, whats up" on here!.!.!.not that it's bad, but I think the intent was for that kind of thing to be in "communities" instead of here!.
I would like to see a YA review accounts more closely (as in multiple accounts)!.!.!.and actually look into each of the reports for level of severity, ie, chatting isn't particularly harmful and could be at a "level one" , whereas calling someone a "b*tch" or telling them to "f*** off" would be "level 5" or grounds for permanent suspension!.!.!.that stuff doesn't belong in an answer, anyway!.
I don't see why so much harmless stuff is taken off and so much useless, paranoid harpings still manage to leak through the BS filter!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

from what I've been told, Left-t, it's all computerized, so I would think the computers don't figure things and ponder on rationality like a real human would!.

They go by the FALSE reports!
As usual!. They don't read!. They just act based on what they read by the reporter!.
But when I reported a silly answer, it never gets deleted!. And that lady happens to be a Top Contributer by copy pasting answers!. Low classerzzzzzzzzzzzz! :P

I think what is happening in some cases is that people are ganging up on others to report them!. also, I witnessed evidence of multiple accounts being created recently!. I'm Virgo!.!.!. nothing gets by me!. ;) I think if Yahoo gets 5 reports on one question, they delete!. I doubt they have time to investigate each claim!.
Recently we saw how one of these vindictive people can be defeated!. We must all stand up to bullies!. (Bitter)SweetLily tried to get others to gang up on Jazzy!. But the result was that many of us who had paid little attention to Jazzy before saw an injustice happening and stood against SweetLily!. She was stupid and showed her hand guanarteeing that her evil scheme will never work!. Unfortunately most people who engage in this behavior are cowards who hide in the shadows!.
**I also think it is important to monitor who we have as contacts and pay extra special attention to our "fans"!. If someone becomes my fan, I look at their profile and get a feel for them!. A red flag goes up if it is a new account!. You can prevent someone from being your fan by blocking then unblocking them!. They are free to add you again if they are actually interested in what you have to say!.
***Leftie-- Your q&a are open for all to see!. I know you wanted to share your knowledge!. But maybe you should consider only letting your contacts view them!. That would help narrow down the suspects!.

Good timing!. Have just had a Q deleted after I gave BA!. Absolutely nothing offensive in my question either!. Have had a few recently actually!.

My Q are public when I ask but set to private fairly quickly afterwards and BA is always set in private!.
My answers are not reported much but my questions are and have had 3 or 4 since Monday!.
PS : hope you have submitted your taxes (was my last question)!.!.you have till the 6th anyway now lol!. Netfile broke down/too busy!.!.must be affiliated with yahoo lolololol !

The same things are happening to me Leftie!. I think that HerVirgo is right!. Maybe people know who your contacts are and try to sabotage you and your contacts!. Whatever the case it sounds unfair to me and I am a firm believer in karma!. What goes around comes around!. It is sad that we all can't get along!. We all have differences, that is what makes us unique!. However, it is hateful to judge on those differences!
