What were the dates of Mercury retrogrades in 1977!? Start date and finish date!. Since I've been aware of mercury retrogrades I know how they affect me in my life now!. I just wondered if I could have been born under a Mercury Retrograde because every time I have a birthday (since I can remember), things have never gone well for me and much of the time people seem to turn on me for some strange reason (family and friends) and often there are fall outs making the time for me unpleasant!. I don't wish to give out my birthdate on here, but it's late June 1977!.

Mercury was retrograde during the following periods during 1977!.
Jan 1 - Jan 18
April 21 - May 14
Aug 23 - Sept 15
Dec 13 through the end of the year!.
If you need to know for sure, you'll have to have a chart done!. A chart requires the date, place and time of day of your birth!.
Mercury does not go retrograde at the same times every year!. Therefore if you have difficult times around your birthday it is unlikely to be related to Mercury Rx periods!. It is more likely to be associated with the Sun, but every year is a bit much!. Maybe you just find aging difficult!?
If I were to generalize about Mercury Rx in natal charts I'd say it seems to be associated with people who have a hard time seeing others' viewpoints and/or people who are often misunderstood by others, but that will not apply to everyone with Mercury retrograde!.
My experience with Mercury Rx is that I often have computer problems at that time, but not all of them!. For a period of about three years I had a computer problem with each period ranging from annoying to outright destructive!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
