I would appreciate answers directly from a Gemini or Cancer themself, but if you are not a gemini or cancer and only know or used to know of a cancer/gemini couple just describe if they seemed happy while it lasted!.!.or if it ended really ugly or something, and also how long it lasted, please!. Hi, I'm a Cancer and I have dated two Gemini’s!. One was Gemini/ Taurus cusp, I really hated him, he was very controlling didn't have too much fun with him!. I would break things off with him and then somehow he would weasel his way back, I was young then, it wouldn't happen like that now!.
But my other Gemini that is my ? to a certain extent!. He and I knew each other for years, we grew up together!. We dated briefly as kids and then got together as adults!. He was a really good friend and we had a nice relationship!. We are both June babies so we would do things for our b-days together even though we were 2 weeks apart (& different signs)!. He had a real quiet side to him & I don't really like the club scene even though I like going out!. So we would do a lot of quiet things together, he liked me because I was his 'chill girl' he could listen to jazz and just relax with!. Go to poetry joints and have a drink, he liked it because he had a pretty girl on his arm doing something that a lot of his friends wouldn't be into but he liked!. We always had a good time and he was a good friend, we lost contact with each other after he moved and I had to change my number!. But I would love to see him again just to catch up and see if he is okay!. I'm not looking for any rekindling because I couldn't see myself with him and I'm very happy with my Cancer man!. But I would love to sit on porch like we used to one night have a drink listen to some music and catch up!. I did our charts and we were actually very compatible despite what people say about Cancer/Gemini relationships!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I recently dated a cancer im a gemini, at first it was good then he started becoming possessive, giving me stupid love poems, so mushy it was freaking me out!.!.!.it was 2 months we dated and he started talkin about marriage within 2 weeks havent found a girl like me in 6 yrs!.!.!.But dam he had mood swings like no other!.!.!.Get jealous!.!.!.!.try to get me jealous!.!.!.Never worked he came to the point where he felt as if i didnt like him as much as he liked me and felt as if i was uncomfortable with him and broke up with me!.!.!.!.thank goodness cuz it was annoying!. He would complain a lot about her too!.!.!.primarily because he said she was too aggressive with her expressions of love!. He was drawn to the emotion (he liked that she would stroke his ego but he found it hard to believe, she was telling him that she was head over heels in love with him in like 3 weeks) and frightened by it at the same time (he is a sweetie-pie with a lot of feeling but he is not emotional at all!.!.!.I mean not at all)!.
So, when it was all said and done he just couldn't relate!.
It "lasted" 3 months however that is the/his "usual" timing!. She kept pursuing him after he broke up with her but he didn't maintain a friendship with her like he does with most of his other ex-gfs!.
His closest relationships have been Leo and Virgo!.

I dated a Gemini years ago and the guy still wants to marry me (we broke up 8 years ago)!. I found him to be too much of a dreamer for me!. I wanted security and the guy wouldn't get a job! When he did work, it was in fields that offered no hope for a solid career!. I hated that!.
Other than that, I think I was intrigued by his intellect and he was intrigued by my ability to emote so freely!. It was like we were both observers in the relationship!. He thought my ability to be so attached to everything was the most interesting thing since sliced bread and I thought his ability to be detached from everything was the most interesting thing since sliced bread!. I needed more of an emotional connection, though, and I wasn't finding it with him!.

EDIT: I've given that a LOT of thought over the years but I just get this feeling that I'd grow resentful of his constant "psychological analysis" of me!. I started to feel like a test subject for his inquisitive nature!. I still think about him (because he keeps asking me to marry him) but there is a nagging feeling in me that it just wouldn't be a good fit!. Close, but not perfect!. I'm pretty dismissive of him, in general !. I don't know why, but we just can't connect emotionally!. I'm a Cancer, and I had a brief, 8 month relationship with a Gemini!. When I met him, I was blown away!. He was charming, good looking, funny, and extremely alive!. When I was with him I felt alive and sexier than I had ever felt in my life!. It wasn't that he did anything in particular to make me feel that way, it was just that being around him that made me feel lighter than air!. I was intrigued, and eager to unravel the mystery that was him!.!.!.!.!.why did he behave the way he did!? What was he really feeling deep down inside!? The problem was that he was all fluff and no substance!. While flying around on clouds was exhilerating for a while, it got tiring and I was looking for emotion and something a lot more substantial!. It didn't take long to see that what I saw was exactly what I was going to get----it didn't get any deeper, and there was no real emotion involved on his end at all!. The love-making wasn't love-making at all!.!.!.!.he seemed emotionally detached and it was nothing more than a physical experience for him!. It turns out that he had a lot of different girls on the hook along with me!. Since he lived a half hour away from me, he was easily able to manage us all in shifts!. My intuition told me that he was up to no good, and one day I spyed on him and saw not one, but two different girls enter and leave his condo at different times!. I was disgusted!
