This is a great question! Many people are actually very confused about what a horoscope actually is!. It is often believed to just be their sun sign column out of the "Times", but a horoscope is actually much much more!. Swiss Psychiatrist Carl Jung felt that the horoscope was the map of the human psyche at birth!. It provided a blueprint for what this individual will go through during the course of his lifetime!. It has inbred archetypal images of our parents, siblings, friends, and even how our psyche views and sees others as well as the world as a whole!. It explains why we have the interests we have, and why things that interest other people simply do not interest us!. you don't actually NEED a horoscope, but a lot of people just want one because, or some people really, truly do believe in it!. You asigned a sign on the day of your birth!. I'm a Libra-Virgo!. Because of the fact that my birthday lands on the fall equinox, making my date of birth always getting crossed between the two signs!. What I'm getting at here is that they can''t always be accurate!. I mean, what are the chances that every Pieces is going to have the exact same day as another Pieces!? it's based mainly on coincidence!.
