My partner's a retired pro astrologer, more of the traditional school than I (he utilizes just the usual planets, the Moon's nodes, and Chiron)!.
Probably the mutual interest in astrology is due to all the Scorpio, Pluto, 8th house stuff, and Pisces/Neptune stuff, in our charts!.
We both have significant stuff in Virgo too!. Virgo adores analysing things (like relationships => synastry), finding structure, and helping others make the most of what they have!.
