Ummm neither because ahhhh, neither actually exist outside of the minds of believers, not even in little bits, not at all!. So it is impossible to be one or the other!.
Unless either one actually stumps up some scientifically credible evidence instead of the favorite, old dependable anecdotes then they shall remain non-existent in the eyes of science and every rational thinking individual!. Which is not a bad thing, the world is quite fantastic, wondrous and awe inspiring as it is!. Take a look at the hubble deep field or just look up on a clear night away from the lights, plenty right there without inventing strange phenomena and other fantasies!.
I can more than understand the lament somewhere above, where is the room for science gone to!? Without it we will be in trouble, science has brought us, explanation of the world around us, the tools to evaluate what is and what is not, modern medicine, electrical power, space travel, the web, and I could go on!.
