December 21 2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar!. The Mayans, being an ancient civilization, never got around to writing their calendar beyond that date!. also, in 2012, the sun will go into a new solar cycle!.
There are a lot of doomsday lunatics out there who also claim that Nostradamus, the Yi Ching, and other prophets, have predicted the world to end in 2012!. This is actually false!. When the Mayan calendar ends, and when the new solar cycle begins, this is all just symbolism for the dawning of a new age!.

I do not believe in this mumbo jumbo but I've heard about the world coming to an end on December 21, 2012!.!. It's believed to be linked to the Mayan calendar, which shows that the world will come to an end on that date!.
