Question: Do people with Scorpio rising show more Scorpionic characteristics than people with Scorpio as their Sun sign!?
I'm a Scorpio and my brother is an Aquarius with Scorpio rising!. He was telling me that people would guess he was a Scorpio before they did me!. Is he right!? Do rising signs exhibit more of a sign than it does when it's in someone's Sun!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

the ascendant, when in scorpio, tends to dominate the whole chart, unlike some other ascendants which function more like overlays!. i'm a pisces sun, scorpio rising, and i've yet to met a scorpio sun who is more intense than me!. that being said, i can let go of things, which a scorpio cannot do!. i have uranus and the moon in the first house, so maybe that's what makes me even more intense than most scorpios i've known!. scorpios tend to feel bad after they lose their temper, because they see it as a moment of personal weakness!. me, i have few such regrets!. so maybe the answer to your question is more dependent on the interplay within a particular birth chart, rather than an out-and-out yes or no answer!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
somebody with scorpio rising may behave like a scorpio, but people with sun in scorpio ARE scorpio, they feel it within their beings!. that presence can be felt more deeply then just an ascendant in scorpio!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
