I kind of agree with the answer above that saturn especially when it is in particular aspect to the rising sign or sun sign or moon sign can definitely give a lack of self confidence especially with the square aspect!.Saturn in the first house can give one a lack of self confidence or it may mean that you were forced to face harsh realities and to assume resposibility at an early age!.
Example:Moon square Saturn is one aspect in individuals who aren't self aware can lead to melancholy and depression!.Sun square Saturn you may feel pessimistic and lack ambition,but look at saturn and the aspects it makes in your chart to give you that answer

No, but if they are fixed signs in different elements then they would all conflict each others interest and behaviour!. and your really unsure of how to feel, so you will get insecure and your confidence will fade because you get negative reactions from other people, mostly because they dont think you really know who you are!.
fixed signs dont decrease your confidence, but aspects between fixed signs could!. if you have the same fixed signs (which i doubt) then its all good!.

I think they make you kind of stubborn and inflexible!. I don't have any cardinal signs, about half mutable and half fixed!. I've been told I am willful and stubborn and go to extremes!. It would depend on what signs they are in and what aspects are made to them by other planets!. I think Saturn squares or oppostions give a lack of self-confidence!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No not at all!. Self confidence itself says, "self" so, nothing else can decrease it!.It is self sufficient :)
