Question: Secondary Progressions!?
I am wondering how to go about discovering the correlation between my original chart and progressed one!.

I am now 20, progressed chart being- 12/7/1987

I am also wondering, my rising sign is in Sagittarius, would that change as well!? When I put it in my progressed chart, the characteristics change, but the ascendant does not!. Should I be entering a different time!?

Let me know if you need any additional information!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My advice is to forget looking at your progressed "chart" as a chart at all!. Progress the planets and the angles, and when a progressed planet makes a significant aspect or conjunction to an angle or a planet consider that a significant year!. In other words the natal chart remains static while the progressed planets move at their daily rate and that rate symbolizes one year!. We don't cast a new progressed chart each year!. Never forget that not every year is significant!. Most years are ho-hum affairs and the charts reflect this!. They tell us little because little will occur!.

Let's take a quick look at your chart the Sun is at 24 Scorpio 46!. The Sun is moving at 1 degree one minute per day!. We'll call it a minute per day for simplicity's sake!. Using the standard one day of motion equals one year of life the progressed Sun would have crossed your ASC at about age 15!. The Sun occupies the 12th house and rules the 9th, so did any "secrets" emerge at about age 15 or did you travel about that age!? Did you harm yourself in some way!? Since the ASC signifies your body, were there medical issues at about that age!?

Always check the progressed Moon!. It moves the fastest and if it coincides with another progression it is a strong indication of a significant period!.

I took a quick glance at your chart and due to your young age, not too many planets have made any significant contacts or "hits!." That will happen later on as the progressed Sun passes over each of your first house planets at about age 27 to 30 which is also the time of your first Saturn return!. Since the Sun will contact Saturn at about that time, it should prove to be a very eventful period!. Better you than me!. ;-)

Next if you detect a significant year, cast the solar return for that year and see if there is anything that repeats what you see in the progressed aspect!. Let's say at roughly age 27 the progressed Sun hits natal Venus!. This is a good indication of getting a significant raise or promotion at work (gift of the gods - 11th ruled by Venus is the second of the 10th)!. If the solar return shows, say ruler of the ASC, Jupiter in the 10th house, it would be another indication of the same thing!.

Then cast the lunar returns to once more look for repetition of the same theme in order to narrow the time frame even more!. Lunar returns will not always do this for you, but when it does the prediction can be remarkable well timed!. There are 13 lunar returns in a 12 month year!. Thank God for computers!.

Look at your life as an unfolding story, not a series of unconnected events!. If you see the things I mentioned, then use that knowledge to plan for your good fortune, but watch that Mars in the 11th in Libra!. Mars has a tendency to squander good fortune!.

Again the progressions are broad brush indications of events coming!. Particularly note aspects to angles, and the rulers of the ASC and MC!. Solar returns are used to reiterate the same themes and further refine the events of a significant year!. Lunar returns give more precision particularly of timing!. Transits are triggers!. Most importantly, you have to go out and make these things happen!. If you wait around for things to happen to you, they usually won't!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
