What's the most prominent thing you've ever done to brighten up someone !

A really good friend of mine that i work with was in a really bad relationship with her boyfriend,and her situation was similar to mine in that she was being verbally abused,and mentally abused too,but the only difference is that this guy was "physically" abusing her on top of all this,and she would constantly make excuses for him and protect him(like i did with the person i was with),and the sh*t thing is was that she felt trapped because he had her convinced (since she had kids) that "nobody" would want her,and he would tell her that she was fat and ugly(something like what i went through),and she just hung on every mean word he said to her,and it wasn't until she came to work one day with a black eye that i was shocked and pissed at the same time (and i wanted to fight him myself),but he's a lot bigger than me so i didn't,but what i did do for her and what i was able to do was i told my therapist that i go to that i have a friend who's in a very bad relationship situation with her boyfriend and he gave me this number which was a number for battered women,and so the next day when i went to work i gave her this card which he gave me,and at fist she was angry with me,because she felt that i was sticking my nose in,but then she thanked me later on,because she actually called the number,and had a restraining order put on him,and he was "furious" at first with me, but i really didn't give a sh** when it comes to my friends or people that i care about i'm going to stand up for them,and now he's out of her life,and her and her kids are in a better situation now,and i don't regret what i did for her,because i "knew" myself what it was like so i was able to reach out to her and help her the only way i knew how "and it worked"!.

I even told her if i wasn't "gay" i would be her boyfriend and definitely treat her the way she deserves!.!.lolWww@Enter-QA@Com

When I first started dating my boyfriend, his father had passed away!. He had to go out of town the next day!. So I went to his house the night before he left and I made him his favorite meal, I listened to him cry and I cried with him and prayed with him and for him!. The next day I took off work so that I could take him to the airport and for the whole two weeks that he was gone I went to his house every single day after work to feed his fish and also to clean his house so that when he came back he could just rest!. When he got back, I took off work again so that I could pick him up from the airport and spend the whole day with him!.

Well!.!.!.I've saved their life!. Seriously!. I wouldn't let the retard drive home drunk!. I got up out of my bed at 3 a!.m!. in the cold and drove them home!. Then I got back up at 7 in the morning and rove back to their house, drove them to another city to get their car so they could drive hours away to meet a deadline!. The most you can do is help them and i once had this chocolate covered strawberry and when i was leaving from the mall , where i brought it i seen this man who was tellin me how he hadnt ate all day cuz his car broke down and he was waiting for his friend to come pick him up!.!.!. well this sounds cheesy but i gave him my strawberry and he said that it was something that kind of made his dull day better!

they looked glum, so id establish some eye contact and just flash em a smile or give em a friendly wave!. it's highly likely they'll smile back, if not a reluctant one at least they will try to smile, due to unexpectancy!.

they can go off thinking im whacked, for all i care!. i seriously think a little smile along the way doesnt do any harm in the long run!. smiling and laughter is contagious by the way!.!.!.!.!.spread it as much as you want, you'd never get sick of it (unless the persons sick, that is)!.
