Capricorn thinks they are too busy for everything!. they are naturally slow moving and therefore they feel that if they do not move steadily they won't get everything done!. they keep busy so as not to get mixed into things that will distract them off of their goals!. for example, they will study in their spare time instead of go out to the water park!.
Capricorn very easily forgets that it is important to relax a little and have a good time!. it is key that you prove it to hime in one way or another and then get him to joke around a little or do something outside of his regular routine!. normally a Cappi will only ignore someone for one of 2 reasons> they are too busy for socializing, or they dont' like that person!.

My pisces cousin used to barge into my house, grab my pen, throw it on the floor and say "come on, you can study later, I got to show you this"!. of course their would be nothing to show, but once she got me out of the house and away from my school work I would lighten up and joke and have a good time and relax a little!.
My capricorn cousin (pisce's sister) acted similarly!. she would just walk me out of the house and into her car and say "lets go for some ice cream or something, my god you are so boring"!. And I loved it, naturally!.
My mom would tell me things like "what is the point in going to school if you are too shy to talk to people!. when you get a real job you will have to know how to understand and interact with others" and of course I would listen and try to incorporate others (neighbors, co workers, school mates etc!.) into my life, and be a little more social!.

3) joke with him and smile and laugh at his boring dull humor(I like dry humor, so it is natural for me, but you might have to pretend a little)
