Question: What aspect in a chart would cause you to take negative qualities as compliments!?

Very Interesting, I too would be honered to be that kind of person lol!. I honestly don't think it has anything to do with natal aspects that make someone like to be considered bad or terrible!. I think it's partly the person's individual psychological makeup, partly their enviornment and experiences, part some sort of undeveloped conscious, partly just the natural sin within all human beings, part genetics etc!. I think many factors add up to this!.
But to be honest, part of it also may be immaturity and lack of understanding of what it truly means to be these things, as it is seriously not a good thing to kill someone!. Once matured, the taking of these qualities as compliments may pass, but not always!.

Well!.!.!.!.I have some Scorpio!. I really am proud of it - I just don't want to advertise!. People always assume the worst with Scorpio!!!!! Why is that!?

lol!.!.I do this, and I'm a Sagittarius!. I just think it's a compliment when people talk about me, because that means I am really interesting!. And when people are condescending or negative to me to my face!.!.I just pretend to be oblivious to the negativity and cheerfully agree or laugh along!. I know what you mean Bumby!. I found out that I have my Venus in Scorpio and I was mortified!. People have some really strong reactions to anything Scorpio on YA! For that matter it took me a long time to tell anyone I was a Sagittarius Sun too!. Some people really have strong opinions about Sadge on here too :-/

I'm not trying to offend you here RachStar, but I'm wondering something!.
Did you have parents around you to tell you the difference of right from wrong!? Usually if people are brought up by neglective parents, then they feel that anything is okay to be!. Or if there was a lack of discipline in the household, then that child will grow up to be an adult that thinks "anything goes", and "I can do whatever I want to others, and it's okay"!.
But this is not true!. In life, you are not the only person affected by you!. If you think it's cool to be someone who is hurtful and manipulative, then you are not only hurting yourself, but also others thru your hurtful actions!. When you grow to be an adult, you usually come to see that the world does not revolve around you!.
