Question: At what time and date in the UK this year (2008) does LEO star sign begin!?
I'm due to give birth on 17th but have always had a gut feeling she'll turn up on 21st & she's showing no signs yet & I'm booked to be induced on 24th if she doesn't turn up by then which will be one week late!. I know Leo is usually 24th July buy also that all star signs vary by time each year and could be upto a day either side!.

the sun enters the sign of leo on 22nd of july at 10:56!. But with BST, you need to add an hour, so 11:56, that is using the 24 hour clock,

Those are the dates in which the sun will apparently pass through that portion of the ecliptic that goes through the constellation of Leo!.
This will not match any horoscopes you may find, because they are based on a completely obsolete set of data, which does not take into account the precession!.
Note also that the sun is not 'in' Leo or anywhere else! The whole zodiac notion is a misconception, dating back to before we understood either the heliocentric nature of the solar system, or the real nature of stars!
