Question: Have you ever considered the basic physics involved in astrology!?
1!. the force of gravity goes with the inverse square of the distance ie!., the further a body is from you, the less it will affect you!. (hint: MILLIONS of miles)!. The person who delivered you at birth may be much less massive than any celestial body, they are much closer and would certainly affect you more than the positions of the planets!.
2 Why aren’t stars, galaxies, quasars, or black holes included in astrological forecasts!. Does the force they exert not count!?
3!. Due to the slight wobbling of the Earth’s axis, the current position of objects in the zodiac circle are no longer consistent with the tenets of astrology set up thousands of years ago!. Your "sun sign" is actually currently shifted over by one (i!.e!., a Leo is really a Cancer)!.
4!. A baby spends about 9 months gestating in the mother’s womb before it is born!. Why, then, does your birth time matter!? Shouldn’t it really be the time of conception that would affect who the baby is to become!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

No one can answer those things with complete certainty!. But as in most fields in life, you OBSERVE before you create an explanation for these things!. If you looked at astrology and looked at the amazing precision of TRUE astrology (I'm not talking about some horoscopes in the newspaper), you would probably be at a loss for words, or probably more likely deny it!.
There are many 'problems' with astrology and it is an ever changing field, just like all science is!. This does not make it untrue!. 'Pisces', 'Cancer', all those signs are just expressions of what is observable!. They are not set in stone and no one can explain why certain forces influence people, events, and things!.
There are many observable facts in science that are unexplainable at this point!. People offer theories, but no one can know!. At points in history people have observed certain things - for instance, the tide!. A woman's menstruation cycle!. Even still today, no one can fully explain what the wind is for certain!. They are there but we just don't understand the details enough to explain it!.
Astrology just seems more unreachable than other observable facts, so people feel the need to deny it!. Who were the true idiots when they said the world wasn't round!? The people who stuck to the archaic beliefs and said 'no, that can't be true'!. They knew nothing of the findings because they had not researched the topic!. 1!.While your comment about physics is correct, I know of no consensus in astrology which actually defines gravity as being the cause of influence!. I've been studying astrology for a long time, and I've never seen any definite claim of what may cause the influence from a physics point of view!. Astrology is a study which I have found to have a great deal of accuracy in prediction, but it is not a science!.
2!. Stars and other astronomical bodies are indeed included!. There are some astrologers who are studying them in more details than others!. A simple Yahoo or Google search should give you several websites dedicated to this particular subject!.
3!. Astrologers do take into account the precession of the equinox!. Those who follow it to the actual true degree and minute are called Sidereal astrologers!. Those who do not take precession into account are called Tropical astrologers!. Since most true students of astrology are dedicated to the study of aspects rather than focusing on a 'sun sign', whether Sidereal or Tropical is used is irrelevant!. Making an issue of this is like those in electrical engineering who argue whether current flows in the negative to positive direction of electrons or in the positive to negative flow of holes!. Or should resistance be measured in ohms or mhos!.

1) No one said the planets had any influence over us!. They are indicators!. When you look at the hands of a clock, it tells you it is 3:15pm, but you don't think the clock is causing time to exist, do you!? When I look at a person's chart and see Moon square Mars, I know they are going to have a bad temper!.!.!. but I don't think the Moon & Mars are causing it!. I just know Moon Square Mars indicates it from textbooks and now, from experience of doing over 300 readings!.
2) Some astrologers do use fixed stars in their readings!. And there may be some interest in the other stuff you mentioned, but we are currently trying to work through all the closer stuff like asteroids!.!.!. maybe someday!.
3) We know all about the wobble of the earth!. The wobble is what sends us into different "ages!." Now we are in the Age of Aquarius!. We just left the Age of Pisces!.
As for the moving of the constellations!.!.!. tropical astrology has stayed true to the original spots on earth where the constellations related to when astrology was created!. But, there is a branch of astrology called sidereal astrology that takes the procession of the constellations into account!. So you can have your cake and eat it too!.

Sure they know about the physics and the pseudo-science!. The premature births and frozen embryos that can delay a birth for years!. I ask is that someone show anything that astrology clearly does better than random chance!? Or better than any possible alternatives that may be simpler and more likely!.
