Question: How to determine my ruling planet!? 9-23-1974 11:35am Bangalore, India!.!?
I was under the impression it was venus (Libra sun) but someone else claimed it was the rising sign (Sag) making it Jupiter!. But then again, I do not know the "strength" of the planets either!. Is it bad for marriage to have ketu in the seventh house!? Thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

If your rising sign is Sagittarius, your ruling planet ("lagnesh" or "ascendant ruler") is Jupiter!.
Ketu in the 7th House is not normally good!. However Gemini (the 7th House for Sagittarius) is probably the best sign for Ketu (affording the headless planet some intellect from Mercury)!. You should marry a person with healthy shyness and a lot of interest in occult / spirituality and non-materialistic type of religion - otherwise Ketu's energy can manifest a relationship that is very odd, very unsteady, and prone to coldness & emotional withdrawl!.
