To an acquaintance is someone who has potential to be a friend or a business contact!. They are someone you're cool with (or not)!. They are someone that you have met or been around at least 3 times!.
A friend is someone who you actually hang out with, you know their family and friends and intimate things about them!.
I believe in both!. Some people make great friends and others is just best to keep then as an acquaintance!.

I believe more in friends because they are some one who you can rely on and have a more intimate relationship with!.
Acquaintances on the other hand are superficial friendships that usually revolve around a clique and some perceived social status!.
I don't like shallow relationships!.

A friend is someone that's very special to you!.!.!.Someone that accepts you for who you are, cares about your feelings, and treats you with loyalty and respect!.
An acquaintance is someone that you know and may be on friendly terms with, but it's not really someone you can rely on, or share a bond with!. I think that it is important to have acquaintances, as in this world, who you know is everything!.!.!.!.But they are on a completely different level than your friends!.
Friendship is like any relationship, and takes a while to become whole and true!. Finding a good friend can be as rare as finding true love!. I, too, feel that I would much rather have one good friend, than 100 acquaintances!.!.!.But since I don't have to make such a choice, I'd say that expanding your network while holding your true friends close is the best!. A good balance!.

Friend: someone who can deal with long and unpredictable absences from my account, still treat me with the same warmth after that long absence as if nothing happened, and!.!.!. basically has the same interests as myself!.

Acquaintances!. I dont like the idea of "friends" because i wouldn't trust anyone with my secrets or whereabouts except for family!. but acquaintances are always nice to have just in case you're bored and you need to talk on the phone or hang out with someone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
