Question: Opinions from my contacts and others!?!?
Astrology is a way to get to know ourselves and others better!. BUT!.!.!. Do you think it is possible that alot of people try to twist astrology into a way to confirm their dellusions about themselves!?!? Or make excuses for bad behavior!?

Many people want to understand themselves, and some will accept anything at face value to bring order and make sense of their lives!. If they read about a particular aspect, they may jump into the parameters of that role and behave accordingly without understanding the whole picture!. Or, conversely, they will read a particular sign characteristic and use that as an excuse to explain why they have done something wrong or bad so they don't have to take responsibility for it!.
What I use Astrology for is to better understand the circumstances in my life and also better understand why others think, feel and behave as they do!. When I do understand others from that perspective, life is easier for me, and I am more accepting and caring!. I can better interact with people when I know something about their natal blueprint!. I believe that the knowledge of Astrology is a gift from God and should be used with respect and attitude of humble gratitude!.
When I see questions like: "What sign is the best in bed!?" or "Don't you think all Sagittarians are !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?" or those who flaunt how much they know for their own self-centered reasons, I get really upset because I feel that this is a total abuse of the subject!. To me, it is similar to people who preach words of hate and call themselves Christians!.

But I also have to say, at 54, I have had ongoing revelations and understandings about myself throughout life!.!.!. was I trying lie to myself each time!? I don't think so!. I think as you go through life, your perspective changes!.

Astrology and psycology and first impressions are all labels for tools we use to get along with others and protect ourselves in the process!. Any one, who only uses one system to guide their way, can get themselves into trouble!. We put on coats when the ground has white crystals on it!. We know to look for those crystals when the leaves have gone off the trees!. You cross streets between white lines!. All are sign posts that is all!. Your brain is the ultimate tool for living!. my friend is a gemini who HATES talking (can u believe that!?) she has planets and aspects that make her not so socially ambitious so she can blame that on her birth chart (but doesnt mean she shouldnt stop talking, she should try to overcome it some how!!!) but if something is wrong with my behavior such as getting jealous too easily, i understand why by the planets and houses but doesn't mean i shouldnt overcome it! you control your own life not astrology! no one should use it as an excuse!! i hope i answered your question correctly!!

I sometimes don't feel like doing the dishes, so I say, well I AM a TAURUS you know to my husband! SInce Taurus has been stereotypes as being lazy, I use that to my advantage!! Oh and also that thing about us bulls loving our comfort food, which is true, but then again, who doesn't!? I use that one too, I love food! I think people take astrology and bend it to fit their own needs, as we all do with everything in life!. I think it is human nature!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
