You can get a book by Alan Oken called Complete Astrology!. it shows the interpretation, the elements, modes, aspects and even transits and progressions!. It has about 700 pages and will be a good starter for you!. Their is also Alan Leo " The Key to your nativity"!. I anm sure that you can find others but these are ery complete and have like 3 books combined into one!.

If you are a beginner and really want to understand Astrology, I can suggest a book used to teach Astrology!. It is a workbook as well, giving you tests after each chapter, so you can tell if there are areas you need to go back and review!. I have had great success in teaching Astrology to friends and family members by using this primer/workbook!.
