No!. When a person repeatedly picks on certain sun signs, that means they cannot be content enough with themselves to let go of their bad experiences with a particular sun sign!. They are unable to mentally move on from being slighted, so they blame an entire sun sign for this!. I read the question as: Is it okay to hate someone <i>because</i> of their sun sign!. Meaning, if it is okay to hate someone because of the traits that sun sign causes them to have and not simply because they have a certain sun sign!.
To be honest, I don't hate anyone!. I dislike a lot of things yet I have fortunately come only a few times very close to feeling hate for someone else!. The people that do rub me the wrong way are the unreliable, the people who cheat and lie, the ones that cannot be loyal and trustworthy and the ones that try to gain personal selfish happiness at the expense of other human beings!. I have met a lot of Scorpios that fall into those categories and plenty of Cancer and Leo too!. I think in a way that it's a defense mechanism for some people!. They have a really messed up experience with a person from a particular sign and to protect themselves from further hurt they become cautious of all that belong to that sign!. I've seen it time and time again, not just on here but with friends and family too!. I, personally, don't judge based on signs period!. I don't think it's okay to hate anyone over something they can't control (race, sex, gender, Sun Sign, etc!.)

It's never okay to hate any one!. Some people are more difficult for some people to deal with, but that's no reason to hate them!. And in my understanding of astrology, that person, that bundle of characteristics that are so hard to deal with are put there in your chart so you can learn how to handle them and get along with them because it's the karmic thing to do!. Lol, it's just pure ignorance if they ACTUALLY dislike someone because of their sign!. Your Sun Sign is, afterall, only a general outline (if even that) of your personality!. Some can be pretty accurate, but I think you have to be conscious while you read!. Some of the information is pretty universal that most people can relate to!. However accurately categorizing everything is pretty amazing!.

It's a little of all of those things plus limited life experience regardless of age!. There are 6 billion people on this planet!. But if someone has bad experiences with 2 or 3 people of the same sign then all of that sign is bad!. Maybe it is a math issue too!. lol Maybe it is wanting to catagorize a bad experience in order to avoid it in the future ie A Scorpio hurt me so if I avoid Scorpios in the future I will avoid being hurt!. I agree with Jamie that it involves a situation of not wanting to be hurt again!. Long ago, I was badly hurt by an Aries!. When I started dating again, I was attracted to more Aries men, and it was like repeating cycles!. There were so many similar things about them that I wanted to take out a inkstamp and stamp the word ARIES on their foreheads!. Over time, I learned that the good, bad and ugly similarities weren't just about them being Aries!. It was also about me being a Pisces, having Mars conjunction my Sun and Venus, and having Libra Rising with Libra Moon!.
Since that time, I've learned that my clashes with other persons has much to do with aspects in their chart and mine!. It is usually not just one aspect either, but a combination of them!.
The older I've grown, the more I've come to see that going only by a Sun sign is not only judgmental, it would put me in an unsafe position of underestimating someone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Automatically they are conditioned to form a radar in their head that goes off whenever this specific sign comes along!. They fear the consequences that they have dealt with before, and assume that it may happen the same way!.!.!.They may not even choose to feel biased, they just can't shake the feeling that things may take a turn for the worse!.
Of course, there are also the people that know nothing of astrology, and forget to take into account that the world is not divided into twelve!. The immaturity takes place when the contests and ego stroking start to take place, and eventually it all evolves into one big mess!.
