Question: How to react when you are being 'trolled'!?
What action do you take - if any!?
I find myself being trolled today - I do not appreciate it when I don't cause any ill will or harm to other users in Y!A !!!!!!
To anyone who may have tried to add me as a contact lately - if you did not take the time to read my profile to see that I prefer for others to send an email in regards to adding me!.!.!.if I did not recieve an email - I am dropping and blocking you - sorry, no hard feelings - but my Q/A has been infiltrated and I do not appreciate trouble makers! If you were not involved in the 'trolling' - then I apologize - but I'm still dropping you because I never received an email!.!.!.!.sadly you just can't be too cautious these days! Ridiculous!
For my long time contacts - be aware and cautious! The violation notice was for my question earlier today - 'Any new TC's here today!.!.!.!?'
Reason - Chatting!.!.!.!.anyone who answered this question knows that there was absolutely no chatting involved in either the question or the answers!.!.!.!.ridiculous!

I agree with your frustration and especially, reporting a simple question like the one you asked!. Appeal it and demand proof or anything to that effect!. Take your stand and I agree with the blocking as well!. I was blocked for no reason by a lady whom I DON'T EVEN KNOW!.
Imagine, you get reported for stupidity and you get blocked for no apparent reason!. Not that I care!. If anyone blocks me for no reason, I will return the favor!.
As for your appeal, I will post you a search for you and post you the link!. I had a violation last week, appealed it and they excused themself!. give it a shot!. Here is the answer they gave me

Hi always moving forward, i find extremely funny that sagittarious are always complaining about trolls here when the truth is that who cares about them!.!.!. i discovered one troll in my last answer and i'm sure she wouldn't be happy if people called her troll LOL, its just another yahoo feature, you can take it or leave it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If I am honest!.!.!.!.more times than not getting thumbs down doesn't really bother me!. Sometimes I laugh because I am surprised how many people thumbs down questions that are personal experiences or are completely subjective!. Shrug! Who cares!.
That said!.!.!.sometimes I am in more of a sensitive mood and I will be sad that no one gave me a thumbs up (especially when I put a lot of time or thought in to my answer- ha) but I give myself a reality check and snap out of it;-)
Several times I've received violations and have had questions deleted- I don't like it but I quickly move on!. Shrug again;-)
I have never reported anyone and I look to give answers thumbs up so if others want to be negative let them!.!.!.!.won't be me!. For what it is worth I have given you thumbs up tons of times;-)))

I never knew that there were "trolls" on Y!A!.!.but then again this is the internet and people tend to be very ignorant, so I see where you're coming from!.
