Well, I can tell you that a Scorpio would love to be asked out first!. They love to know that the person is interested in them!. One of the hardest things for a Scorpio to do is trust someone, because they are very secretive and guard these secrets with their lives!. And they know that if they were to get close to someone they would almost have to let them in on their secrets, and yet they are very fearful of telling this person their secrets and then it turns out that this person wasn't meant to hear them at all!.
If you ask him out first it will help him to trust you a little bit more because it will let him know that you really are interested in him and may even have genuine feelings for him!. And who doesn't want to know this!? As for confidence though!.!.!. Well Scorpios, especially us females, get turned on by the feel and show of power!. So if the female is confident then the male will be even more attracted to her!. So that is actually a very good plus for her!. For you!.
