she started to say how she didn't know him

Geminis are the twins, some people consider them to be two-faced!. But the Geminis I've met, some are honest, but while others!.!.!.
They do lie often, like their fellow Pisceans(2 fishes)!.
But they are good people and if you tried talking to her like a friend, maybe she'll tell you the truth!. :]

Many people lies all the time!. So I wouldn't know if that "friend" of your is lying or not!.
What I do know is that, as a mutable sign, Geminis likes to take risk if that is necessary to get what they want!. Being an air sign, I guess their way of taking risk would be in the intellectual form (lying with words)!. Gemini are definitely highly intelligent people so one should be careful when interacting with them although they could be pleasant to be with most of the time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
