Question: If you had your own astrology site, would you use a free astrology reading as "bait"!?

Even in the VERY old days, when astrologers didn't NEED money, the client would have to give gifts or render some service to the astrologer before receiving knowledge!. This is because without showing gratitude the heart is not a receptive place to receive any true knowledge given by the astrologer!.
Giving a free reading through a computer program on the internet is EXTREMELY impersonal!. It would not be very beneficial to the recipient, compared to a real reading which is paid for, or humbly requested in some manner!.
also, today it is nearly impossible to live in such a capitalist world without making money while you spend your time on something!. From a capitalist viewpoint, giving away free computer generated readings will increase the traffic to your site dramatically, and you could probably then sell the traffic via advertising!. Blah Blah Blah!. I hate that s**t!.
But I have to admit!.!.!. Always Moving Forward sounds like someone I could really use to help me get my Astrology career to the next level! ;-)Www@Enter-QA@Com

No if i'm not 100% into it!.!.!. If I'm planning something in a big scale then i should use that as a bait and look for other astrology things to win money and analyze the competence to give more appropriate solutions!.!.!.!. I think the biggest problem in this is to gain the trust of people so you have to do something to let them know they will get what they want!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I would not have an astrology site because I'm not an astrologer by occupation!. I'm simply a lifelong enthusiast!. Hypothetically though, I see nothing wrong with it!. In my line of engineering work, I do free estimations and reports all the time!. These are done as a professional courtesy, but with the hope of landing a purchase order, contract or at least have a customer contact at that particular business!.
This is the way of business as most of us know it!. When I go to the cosmetics counter of Nordstrom, the person behind the counter usually wants to give me a free makeup consultation, or a free sample of perfume!. It is not a gateway to making me buy more makeup or more expensive perfume!.!.!. not unless I really like what I saw and smelled!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

LOL - some marketing tactics aren't so nice once you read the fine print or read between the lines a bit!
That said - I'm kind of natural born 'seller'!.!.!.!.!.lol!.!.!.!.good in some ways but can be very negative if you let it!
I probably would consider a similar tactic - marketing tactics work! I would probably offer a basic ( very BASIC) reading or info!.!.!.!.and keep the rest for them to 'purchase' if they were truly interested! I would try to give them just enough to hopefully peak their interest and curiosity!.!.!.anough for them to want to purchase the whole deal!.!.!.!.I would never want to rip someone off though! This would be my personal reason for kind of staying away from that type of career!.!.!.!.I fear that maybe 'greed and success' might get the better of me!.!.!.I would probably strive to do well - but I would be afraid that after a certain point of success!.!.!.I might be all too willing to do just about anything to insure my success and future success!.!.!.!.!.!.not so nice!.!.!.!.I prefer to remain humble - lol -
