Well I wouldn't be surprised if it first started to be celebrated at a time when certain planets were having a major motion - something that represents the spiritual realm having a greater presence in our human realm!. I don't know though!. It may just be something that the ancients felt was significant at a certain time of year just purely because it is, regardless of the planetary influences are (kind of like how Autumn arrives regardless of what planetary influences there are at the time)!.
The Celts and the Japanese both celebrated 'halloween' a long time ago - even though they were very separate cultures, they both believed that it was this time that the barrier between the living and the spirit realm was weaker!. It's a magical time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well!.!.!.if I'm not mistaken, i believe Halloween used to be a considered a paganistic holiday!.!.!.that is, celebrated by people who still worshipped gods (plural) and believed that the celestial bodies could determine futures and whatnot!. I'd double-check these facts, but it seems that astrology could most definitely be connected!. It also occurs during Scorpio, right!? The sign of death/darkness/seduction etc!.!.!.
Nice question - but I doubt the same would apply to any other holidays, specifically Christian holidays!.!.!.but maybe certain days like Harvest moons or Summer solstice/Winter solstice!.
