Question: Is it possible for your Sun sign to have great effect, so much that it smothers your rising and moon sign!?
My sun sign is Cancer and I feel it defines me much more than my moon sign Taurus and rising Capricorn, because I do not think I am anything like my rising Capricorn and moon Taurus!. Do you think my rising and moon have any influence!? also have any of you experienced this!? Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yea, I don't pay too much attention to all that stuff about Rising, and Moon!. I think that the only one I'm connected to is my Sun sign!. Which is a Cancer!. Even that throws me off when they say that I'm sensitive and all that crap!. But yea, I'm sure lots of other people experience this!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If you have a stellium (collection of three or more planets in one sign) in your sign of Cancer this is very possible!. Yes your rising and moon play a major role, but if the Sun is accompanied by planets like Venus, Mars, Jupiter, ect!. that enhances the importance of the Cancer influence in your chart!. I have Scorpio Rising and some people say that Scorp rising can dominate a whole chart, even though I am an Aquarius I feel the influence of Scorpio more than Aquarius!.!.!.and I have a huge stellium in Aquarius!. (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus)
Check to see if you have many planets in Cancer!. also planetary aspects play a huge role!.

Chainlighting brings out a good point about stronger planets cancelling out the weaker ones!. In reality the strong one will not cancel the effects of the weak one but will overpower and color them with their traits!.
Your Sun / Cancer makes you very emotional, living in the past and influenced by it!. But, I might add that your emotions and sensitivity are somewhat tinted by Capricorn and thus making you a nore reserved, and cautious person!. You are a slow starter in matters of the heart!. The Moon in Taurus will still give you that personality of stubbornness, no matter what!.
With all those earth influence, how can you not be practical , caurious and down-to-earth !?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I feel my Leo moon and Gemini rising very much!. also see my Capricorn Mercury, Scorpio in Venus and Mars!.!.!.!.I can even see my Pisces in my XI house!.

Maybe you have more water in other dominant aspects of your natal chart!?!
also to be noted is that Cancer's opposite sign is Capricorn and although there are differences in the two there are also similarities that you might be attributing to Cancer that may in fact be Capricorn!.

I wonder why don't other planets cancel out "weaker" planets!. What happens if Venus is blocked by the sun!?
In physics, there are only two types of forces that can be emitted by a planet gravity and electromagnetism!. Both weaken with distance!. In fact if you pick up a large book of a table, you put more stress on the Earth than Mars does!. The sun has dominance with electromagnetism being a star!. The Moon has it with gravity being so close!. But astrology never states the type of energy that makes people what they are!. It's must be just the angles!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
