Question: Cancers: Why do you guys do that!? (Astrology believers ONLY)!?
I have known many Cancers in my life, but have rarely ever seen them or heard them cry!. What baffles me is why do you guys act so affectionate or vulnerable or emotional one minute and then the next act like nothing happened, like all the sweet things you just said were then so get over it kinda thing, or even go into the state of denial like you never said anything sweet or like you can't remember!?
Is it a phase till you are full comfortable with your relationship!?

I personally don't like to lose it emotionally in front of other people!. I will go off and cry by myself!. Even at funerals, I do everything I can to hold back so I don't have to cry in front of others!. If I appear sweet and emotional one minute and pretend like it never happened the next, that means that I probably didn't get the response to my sweetness that I wanted so my defenses go up!. Yes, it can happen no matter how long I know someone or how close we are!. We have very sensitive feelings and when we don't get a response we're looking for it can hurt enough for us to pretend like it never happened!. Oh I hate to cry in front of people, it may sound silly but I feel like its a personal thing for me to do and I don't want to share it with anyone!. I rarely cry anyway, when people see me cry they are shocked - also I'd like to add, I'm not cold and no one in my circle of people see me this way!. I'm very warm and loving person, I just don't want to share my tears with people!. I am a Cancer girl and I am an emotional roller coaster!. I am very affectionate and loving to my loved ones(family and extremely close friends)!. To the rest of the world, I am really cold!.
I used to cry a lot in high school,but I was bullied so much that all the tears dried out!.
My father is Cancer too and I still have to experience his loving side!.
My brother is Cancer also and he is really cool,but shy!.
Maybe your guy is still in his shell,where he feels protected!. He will come around once he is sure that you are for real and that you won't hurt him!.

It is definitely a phase and in a way he is trying to test you!. If you are able to get through this phase then you will have passed the test and you can begin building something really meaningful!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I just hate being hurt!. So I avoid appearing vulnerable to protect myself!. So it is not a forever thing, it will go away when he is sure that you feel the same way about him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This can't be said about all Cancers in general because not all of them act this way!. I know tons of Cancer women!. I have lots of them in my family and my mother is a Cancer also and none of them are like your describing!. Maybe it's just the few you know personally in your life that does this!. Everything your saying can't be said in general because every single Cancer out there has a different and unique natal chart with other signs in their planets that make up their personality!.
