I don't run and hide from conflicts that much!.!.!.
I don't see a point in it!.!.!.I manage to keep my cool under pressure!.!.!.rarely do I actually bring out a battle ax!.!.!.lol!.
Conflict needs to be handled and I am willing to face that!.!.!.!.never really bothers me at all!.
I don't get hurt easily, I don't become passive and cowar, nothing like that!.!.!.!.
I forgive people vary easily too!.!.!.!.never bother with letting things roll on for too long!.!.!.!.no point!.
Get it out there and deal with your problems!.!.!.thats how I see it anways!.
I can't imagine not facing things head on in life!. I just buckle down and do what needs to be done & I don't let it get too me,,,no matter what kind of conflict it is I resolve it!.!.!.!.

I have had different reactions!. Sometimes I will hide temporarily and develop a strategy!. I have had no win situations where I had to completely back off and hide!. The people coming after me had absolute hate and I was in danger!. A few times in my life, I had to get restraining orders!.

I think I am somewhere in between!.!.!.!.lol!.!.!.!.I prefer to nip things in the bud before they become too complicated or overly dramatic!!! Complications don't bother me too much - I can usually deal with them and/or work through easier than most - but (unnecessary) drama just annoys me and angers me!
I tend to run if I am particularly not feeling so well!.!.!.I will put things off for day when I can better handle and deal with things! I will still stand my ground and deal with things when necessary but if it can wait (when I am ill) - then so can I - sometimes we can postpone things a bit for a better swing at them! ;) Sometimes I can 'see' things slowly unfolding that others may not really be aware of - if it will effect me in some way - nip it in the bud!.!.!.!.!.if it might effect someone I care about - I try to forewarn them and sometimes I even try to shelter them a bit if I feel they may need it!.!.!.!.If it doesn't concern me - people have to learn on their own, sometimes!.!.!.!.

What do you define as conflict!? I rarely experience situations where I feel a need to run away!. Most of the time I have too many things to worry about to even consider conflict!. However, if there is a situation where I feel upset or threatened, I confront it head on!. No point in leaving things to build up!.!.!.Running only postpones the inevitable!. Good to face things and end them!.

Good question but a bit broad, so I will try (I am guesing this is about people conflict!?)
If I am angry or upset and I know the person, I prefer to calm down first and focus before dealing with it head on!. But I deal with it!.
If I feel a lot of unnecessary tension in the room that has nothing to do with me (other people with issues) - I leave if it is appropriate
If someone with a really strong personality that I don't know very well dumps their anger on me without cause at all - I have been known to take them out (no joke)!. I am not a surrogate venting duct for someone's inability to express their anger simply because I am the closest person around!.

Well I hate conflict, i really do!.!.!.If the conflict is affecting me extremely then i will try to face it which requires coming in contact with the issue that is troubling me!. But if and it is a strong IF!.!.i am unable to handle it or i know that one will make it complicated more than it is!. I run and i run far!.
Many people say that i like hiding and running from my issues and it will catch with me!. Yes, i hate to admit it, it is true!. But my reason for this is because i know my strengths and weaknesses and if i stay put, i am going to do something unimaginable!.
The last time when i couldn't handle conflict, i chose not to face it but instead, move away from it!. Move away from London, England to Glasgow, Scotland (Another country altogether -lol) in the UK!. I had people moaning down my ears and it felt like i was still in London, saying i should come back and get on a coach like it was 30 mins away (we are talking the duration of the coach being 8 hours -lol)!. I would be called, "selfish, unreasonable, a wimp who has lost the fight in her, stubborn, unpredictable, introvert with my emotions and unfair!." Let me tell you the issue that led me away was the fact i was not getting the right financial support and my health had deteriorated!. I couldn't bare for people to see how i turned and how unwell i looked, but oh no!.!.!.i was been argued with thousands of miles away that i am all of the above!.
These days it is like i am on watch, people around me are so anxious that they think all of sudden they may hear me saying i am in another country or may disappear if i'm not happy (well, yes when i reached Scotland i told people over in London (England) i was in another country thinking all is well and safe, silly me!.!.!.all hell broke loose ;$)!. Even Mr!. Gemini (i am sure i have sang too much about him now) keeps saying out of the blew to me that we should go to Scotland and anytime i am thinking of going away especially Scotland, i should let him know (those around me say its because he is scared of loosing me after the so-called "stunt" i pulled, so he is trying to imprint in my mind's awareness that if i even think or attempt, i better know i am not leaving without him!.!.!.aww bless, i wouldn't though)!.
But yes i am a run and hide person (Not the best strategy though)!.
