I think the question is rather broad - too difficult to narrow it down to chart indicators!. So, the answer would depend on the nature of the apathy!. We all are apathetic about some things!. It simply is not possible to be interested or concerned about everything in life!.
Whenever you talk about appearance, you think of the ASC or MC!. Immediately, I rule out fire signs!. Of the air signs, only Aquarius might be involved!. Water signs might include Scorpio or Cancer!. The earth signs would definitely include Capricorn, or maybe a moon in Capricorn!.
Having little interest in just about everything suggests depression to me which would also include the moon!. -perhaps a moon square or semisquare Saturn or maybe a moon in Capricorn with hard aspect to ascendant!.
ah Ryan, I feel your anguish!. Yes, a stellium in Capricorn could contribute to it, as aatmyogi below me just mentioned!. I am not sure what you mean by suppressing to a dangerously high level, but it doesn't sound good!.
