Question: Why is Taurus the sign of the Moon's exaltation!?
I've wondered about that, other than observation of such why would astrologers choose Taurus as the sign of the Moon's exaltation!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

This is a FANTASTIC question!!!!

There are several coinciding factors which make taurus the place where the moon operates best!. (Specifically the most exalted spot in taurus is 3o, which is when the moon is in the lunar zodiac "Krittika" and the 108th Zodiac of Capricorn)!.

1) Moon is water, Taurus is earth!. Earth + Water = Fertility and fertility is extremely important to the moon!.

2) There are two other earth signs, Capricorn and Virgo!. Virgo is not as good because it is an infertile sign!. Capricorn is better than Virgo, but saturn is less womanly than Venus!. Venus rules Taurus!. Therefore !.!.!.

!.!.!.Moon (Female) + Taurus/Venus (Female) = excellent synergy!.

3) Notice that the exaltation degree (3o) occurs when the moon is simultaneously in the main sign of Taurus and the 108th division of Capricorn!

4) Taurus is STABLE, and the moon's only real weakness is that it waxes and wanes and lacks stability!. The other two earth signs are not stable (Capricorn is a growth sign and Virgo is a dual sign) - therefore Taurus is the best place to counterbalance the instability of the moon and make it very strong!!!

5) The lunar zodiac Krittika (which is at 3o Taurus) is owned by the Sun!. This is the finishing touch on fertility!. Earth from Taurus, Water and motherhood from Moon, + sunlight from Krittia!. Therefore 3o taurus is the absolute most wonderful spot for the moon!

Let me state for the record!.!.!.

The simple answer is that a planet is in exaltation when it's energy is able to be used to it's fullest!. A planet is dignified when the planet is in it's own sign!. A planet is in it's detriment when it is in the opposite sign of where it is dignified!. This makes the energy of that planet weaker or restricts it somewhat!. A planet is in fall when it's in a sign where it's energy would be "watered down" or weakened the most!. Planets in fall are opposite the signs where that planet would be exalted!.

Planets are dignified in their own sign!. Planets are in detriment opposite their ruling signs!.

Planets in exaltation!.
Sun in Aries
Moon in Taurus
Mercury in Aquarius
Venus in Pisces
Mars in Capricorn
Jupiter in Cancer
Saturn in Libra
Uranus in Scorpio
Neptune in Cancer
Pluto in Leo

Planets in Fall
Sun in Libra
Moon in Scorpio
Mercury in Leo
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Saturn in Aries
Uranus in Taurus
Neptune in Capricorn

Moon in Taurus is where the energy of the Moon is at it's full power!. Look to the aspects of the Moon in your chart to see if this energy is expressed positively or not!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

because a moon in Scorpio would be in its fall, and its opposite sign would be exalted!.!.

if you havent noticed astrology is based on the observation of stars!. literally
since we cant go out there and ask them ourselves, we view them from here and how they affect us when they move around

edit: I know but did you read the second paragraph

your asking how astrology gets its conclusion from the planets right, how they can give traits to planets and how they brand them their behaviour!.!. how did venus get to be the sign of relationships!? or saggitaruis the sign of luck!? men observed that when a planet passes through a certain section of the Zodiac it triggers certain events!.
this goes back to ancient times, but you dont really have to be a genius to get the idea because the planets speak for themselves!.!. the Sun, burning bright and bigger than anything in the solar system is the ruler of Leo, the ego, the entertainer, the man in the spotlight!.!.
Mars the red planet, hot and fiery
Jupiter the largest planet in the solar system, excess, expansion, travel, extravagance
Pluto the farthest planet in the solar system, the most misunderstood one, the enigma

I know that this doesnt exactly answer what you ask but it gives you an idea, and even if anyone could give you and answer and explain it, it would probably just confuse you moreWww@Enter-QA@Com
