I would much rather be capable and unappreciated!. Sure, it's nice to be looked up to, but what good is that if you can't even take care of yourself!? People aren't always going to be there for you, and if you are incapable, then you'll find yourself in a mess!. Plus, I wouldn't respect myself if I were completely incapable!.
