Question: Why do virgo men do this!?
It seems that everytime we get closer, he pulls back ( as all us earth signs do) but he will be EXTREMELY critical of what seems to be every move I make and every word I say; like he is upset with me!. I won't see him as much ( pulling away) but then when I do, he acts like I just can't do anything he likes!. also, I don't know if this is relevavnt, he'll keep looking at me but when I look at him, he will look away ( can see it out of the corner of my eye)
I'll think back to see if I've done anything to upset him, but I won't even be around him ( hes pulled away) to HAVE done anything!.

It sounds like he has some feelings for you and he's scared!. He's pushing you away!. And to be honest you are probably going to have to work really hard to get him to open up to you!. You need to tell him how you feel about the way he is acting and how you feel about him!. The more honest you are with him, the more honest he will be with you!. Try not to take the things he says too personally, you may or may not have done something to hurt him!. I am a Virgo and so is my brother and we both act this way!. And when I like someone a lot, and I start to realize it, it scares me, and I put my guard up!. And the only way to get me to let it back down is to tell me how you feel!. We Virgos have to be completely sure about someones feelings for us before we will disclose our own!. And by the way Virgos and Capricorns are usually great together, once they get together!. Virgo men are very critical and you r correct about saying 'while you r not looking he looks at you' (he is observing you and your habits without you knowing), he will be critical because he is trying to mold you into his liking!.
Most of the earth signs are slow in starting things and doing them because they tend to analyze everything (esp virgos)!. We can't change this!.

oh giiirrrlll!.!. i'm a capricorn and was with a virgo for years!.!. and let me tell you!.!. it was bad!.!. dont know why i stuck around that long but!.!. I'm a Virgo female with a Capricorn and my Capricorn behaved the way you are describing your Virgo our first year together!. Actually, Virgos are known for being critical, but I am more analytical than I am critical and my sweetheart is the critical one!. I have found the best way to deal with my sweetheart when he is pulling away is by being blunt in expressing how I feel when he does this!. He tends to assume things which causes major misunderstandings, so once we talk and clear the air, he is fine!. I have more patience than most, but my Capricorn could try the patience of a saint! When he looks away when you are looking at him, that's because he is analyzing you!. I do that as well, but so does my sweetheart!. You didn't mention how long the two of you have been together, so this is not surprising that he is doing this, especially if this is a new relationship!.
