It doesnt make any sense that the months that your are born in would affect your personality at all, but there are still all the horoscope stuff!. How come!? And how do people even come up with stuff like this, it doesnt make sense!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Of course, chemistry doesn't make sense to a layman either!.
What you know as "horoscopes" is what could be considered pop astrology - simplified, horrendously generalised periodical predictions based on the SUN sign (which, by the way, isn't the *month* you are born in, either!.!.!. sun signs are divided between months, for example the sun sign of Scorpio begins on October 24th and remains until November 22nd)!.
In fact, the month you are born in alone, according to astrology, doesn't affect your personality (or influences it) but the month, the day, the year, the hour (and minute) and the place where you are born - all put together - affect (or influence) your personality!. Theoretically!. But that narrows it down an awful lot, doesn't it!? It is far less likely that you would meet someone born on the same day, year, time and place as yourself than it is of meeting someone who was born in the same month as yourself!.
Of course, I can imagine that even this explanation sounds like latin to you!.!.!. it would to me if I was only beginning to try to understand why the hell someone would believe in such mumbo-jumbo as predictions based on the month of birth (it wouldn't make sense to me either that the entire world's population would be boxed into 12 different characters - then again, in Jung's personality types there were only 8 different personality types so really, astrology offers more diversity than CG Jung does) so here's how I can try to explain in the best possible way!.
I'm a Scorpio!. I don't act like a Scorpio!.
That's pop astrology!.
I'm a Scorpio sun!. (month) I'm a Gemini moon!. (day) I'm a Sagittarius rising (hour and minute)!.
I'm also a Sagittarius mercury, uranus, venus, neptune!. I have jupiter and mars in capricorn!. Ceres in Taurus and Pluto in Scorpio!. Scorpio saturn conjunct sun!.
All the objects in Sagittarius are in first house, moon is in 7th house!. Jupiter and mars are in second house, ceres in 6th house, pluto in 11th house!. All the rest (sun and saturn) are in the 12th house!.
While pop astrology just pins me down as a jealous, posessive and territorial, manipulative and intense, stubborn and sexy person!.!.!. the actual study of astrology pins me down as a talkative, highly intelligent and impulsive person (mercury conjunct uranus and conjunct rising in sagittarius in 1st) with a strong will (mars in capricorn) and a hole where my wallet should be (again, mars in 2nd - money has to roll), who thinks with her heart and feels with her head (mercury opposite moon, but in a degree also moon in gemini - the rational sign), and a low self esteem with tendency towards depression (sun in 12th - the "attic" house, and conjunct saturn which is known to be a depressing planet in astrology)
So, in other words, the actual study of astrology gives plenty more depth to the personality - that is why not only the month, but day and year and time and place of birth are important!. After all, the planets (and dwarf planets) of our solar system are not in the same place every year ^_^
But whether you want to believe in all this is still your choice of course!. I'm only here to help you understand why some people believe in all the horoscope stuff - why it still makes a turnover of fortunes every year!.

Astrology has been around for a long time!. I'm not certain if anyone knows 100% for sure who first came up with it!.
I want to mention that astrology and horoscopes are not the same thing!. Horoscopes are generalized entertainment which are popular so newspapers and magazines make use of them!. Astrology is more than the Sun sign, as it takes in the interpretation of all the planets, aspects and houses!. It is the Ascendant or Rising sign which is considered to be the personality, with the Sun and other planets adding to the blend!.
As to how or why it works, I do not know!. Some of the opinions and theories make no sense to me either!. I've studied this subject on my own though, and made my own observations!. It has been accurate for myself and those whose charts I have done!. Again, I am talking astrology, not horoscopes!. There's a lot more to it than what month you are born!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
