Always try to search the good in bad and even in worse, these are times to test your 'self and will' for consistency and constancy in meditation and prayers!. The effect of any planets thought to give any difficult time in fact and as a matter of fact is good as Lord Krishna says in Bhagvadgita that mostly people remember God only in difficult times!. As you know the truthful, honest, prayers and meditation is the best of all Karma!.
If one leads an honest life, does honest prayers and is kind but never cruel and deceptive to the Creators Creation there is no need to worry about other wise as you know no one can escape bad Karma which so unfortunately is self inflicted!.
As you know Maharishi Brhighu recites that a pandit/astrologer who engages in deceptive ways of doing his job i!.e!., astroanalysis, promises, prayers and pooja not in accord with the prescribed ways of purity of, mind, thought, speech, actions, body and living is cursed with 'Brahamhathia' the greatest sin, but you will come across a lot of thugs and cheats who are not even aware of this Shloka of Maharishi Bhrigu and claim to be pandits and astrologers in there utter ignorance!.
You can imagine what will be the fate of those who break promises and make fun of others!
