okay i have an aries sun, and CANCER RISING!
that pisses me off
im shy all the time, with strangers
and im in my shell all the time
although im really not like that alone!
How do i get over my cancer rising!?
Can i be more outgoing!?
Its just cause i seem to attract the wrong people everywhere :(

This is what I do I bring something or someone with me that makes me feel comfortable or safe if I'm going somewhere unfamiliar or around strangers because then I have that with me to remind me and it makes me feel less anxious!. Sometimes it helps me to relax to get out of the shell you are referring to!. Other times situations or people and their vibes just can't help me out at all :P
also get myself in a friendly outgoing mood before I go too!. Like listen to some upbeat music real loud and sing in the vehicle on the way there and laugh at a funny movie before you go!. Just make sure you are in a good mood before you go to any place you know you might feel shy because going there in a bad mood will just make things worse ! Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't think it's all because you have cancer rising!. I know plenty of cancers and they're all outgoing enough!. Like I'm a scorpio with leo rising and I can be shy too, yet leos are known to be really outgoing!. I'm not shunning astrology here, but you can't just be upset about your personality and blame it on your rising sign!. It can be controlled if you really wanted to!. Oh, and try loving yourself a little more and maybe you'll attract better people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
My best friend is Aries born April 3rd and she also has a Cancer Rising!. I read up on her rising, because she refuses to go out alone and she's very very insecure inspite of being a dynamic Aries!. She's bold, but she's unsure of herself in social settings sometimes and quite shy!. My suggestions to her are the same I am giving to you, learn to get out of your comfort zone!. Take it one day at a time!. I am the type who can dine in public alone, and I work out alone!. Being alone in public doesn't bother me!. She refuses to go to the gym unless someone is with her!. That's no way to live life!. One week, try having brunch alone!. Brunch is not as intimate as dinner!. Take a book/magazine with you as a crunch if you feel nervous!. One week, try walking in an art gallery alone!. What ever you like to do, just try it and you'll get out of it!. My best friend went to the beach with a bunch of coworkers she didn't know!. She wasn't gonna go at first!. I told her to take some books, that way if she didn't like them, she could rest on the beach doing her own thing!. You have to tap into what makes you confident!. For me, it's my hair and eyebrows!. That can make a drastic change on how I feel on the inside!. What about you!? What makes you feel your best!? And, if you think ppl are automatically out to get you, then you'll never have a positive exchange!. You can keep things friendly without getting personal!. Learn to talk about things like fashion, travelling, wine, food, politics, etc without talking about yourself!. But, remember, not everyone is out to get you!. I have Sun in Cancer and Capricorn in Rising and I am introverted!. I really don't think it really has to do with you rising!. Even though people say your Rising is how people see you, I do not think it shows me or other people completely that way!.
