What rules your 4th house and what is your decorating style?!

Venus rules my 4th house!. The cusp in Libra but Scorpio is intercepted!. I like nice things and not alot of clutter!. My mother had alot of expensive nick nacks!. I prefer functional things that don't require constant dusting!. lol Currently I live in very nice fully furnished two bedroom condo!. But everything is so pastel it makes me want to puke!. I like deep rich colors!. My last apartment was Asian inspired!. Black, charcoal grey, red, maroon, and cream colors!. I really miss my bedroom in particular!. I had the bed elevated so I had to climb into it!. 700 thread count maroon down comforter set!. And I used a trick I saw on HGTV!. Instead of a headboard, I bought an ornate iron fireplace screen and nailed it to wall behind my bed!. Sounds weird but it was gorgeous!. It looked like I had a big wrought iron antique bed!. I felt so sexy in that bed even when I was alone!. When I moved six months ago, I sold or gave away everything I had!. I can go visit my stuff at my Virgo friend's house!. She has most of the nicer things!.

I have Sagittarius on the 4th house cusp!. Ideally, I would prefer a home that stands our for its extravagance!. The way I imagined it is that a part of everything which holds siginificance to me would be included but at the same time there should be some amount of space in between!. I wish that my home could be more like an art museum and a theater combined!. Light colors and pastels are most pleasant to my eyes!. The walls should have several wise quotes painted on them for inspiration!. Objects that hold significance (spiritual/historical/mythological) or some sort of symbolic reference are interesting to me!. Sculptures and small water fountains would add to the beauty as well!. I am also fascinated by technological devices even though I do not always understand how to operate them!. At this point, I cannot apply these decorating techniques because my house isn't spacy enough and I have not yet gathered the objects of my desire!. Right now, I am actually quite messy and have turned my living area more on the cozy side (hopefully only temporarily)!. Obviously, I am not quite there but I plan to make it happen in the future (at least something close to what I just described)!. Either way, it's usually not that difficult for me to adapt to a new home therefore I'm sure that I will figure something out!.
I also have Uranus (in Capricorn) in this house which is probably something that should be taken into consideration!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Aries!.

I like a lot of space, and if I can't have the space in terms of square footage, then I want floor to ceiling windows overlooking a nice lake or ocean!. :) Haha, I love bright colors, or minimalist designs!. Lately I've been very interested in wall murals while painting the other walls based off of that mural!. I like clean, sharp, lines and wood floors for some reason!. Bold and rich colors are very nice, and I love stainless steel!. I love having sound systems installed in the walls and flat screens!. Technology is a key point I'd consider in the design of my house!. But utimately, I just want space and a blank canvas to express myself!.

*Edit* I like the warmer colors, like those found in Moroccan themes, oranges, warm pinks, reds, golds!. But I wouldn't ever use too much of any of them because I don't want anything to look overbearing, and make you feel like you stepped into a sunset of torture or something haha!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

My 4th house cusp is Aquarius, and frankly, I haven't given decoration much thought!. I just want things to look nice!. As long as the furniture is arranged well enough, and there is lots of space, then I'm happy!. I prefer a simple look, big windows, white carpet, leather furniture, and a few nice pictures to compliment the walls!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have Taurus in the 4th house!.
Decorating style - I prefer warm earth tones!.!.!.!.not too many decorations in regards to 'what knots' and 'things'!.!.!.lol!.!.!.!.though I do have a lot of things - lol! I really like sleek and slim lined furniture!.!.!.!.but on the other hand I enjoy the comfort of an over sized couch!!!! I like things to look nice and maybe even a few conversation pieces for company and dinner parties but all in all it's all about my (and my families) comforts and needs!. I like storage items like ottomans that double as chests and I also prefer shelving!!! LOTS of books and movies - lol - (more books than movies though! )!. I'm kind of eclectic too in the things that I find beautiful and/or pleasing to the eye!.!.!.!.I am always drawn to old colored glass - like old glass swag lamps! LOL! I don't mind mixing pieces so long as I can get a whimsical feel or even just a comfortable feel!. I don't care too much for fancy brass finish!!! Not really my style! I like black wrought iron or wood! Love candles - have pictures on every wall in my house - lol - some decorative and some family and friends!.
My house is more lived in and useful than it is 'pretty' - lol

****Oh, and I have lots of house plants! My kitchen is overloaded with food and kitchen supplies that I use durring the holidays - my kitchen is just too small for all the gadgets that I have, love and use! :) I also tend to decorate with the seasons - lol - including some of the pictures on the walls - some come down for fall and different ones will go up - lol - I am constantly moving furniture around - get tired of the same thing all the time! My bedroom is probably the darkest room - lots of rich brown, some deep red, a little sky blue!.!.!.!.lol!.!.!.!.!.my sons room is all about Thomas the Train - LOL! One of my favorite rooms in my house! He has a platform bed with a clubhouse (tent) attatched to one side and a slide on the other - LOVE IT! :) LOL!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Scorpio on the 4th, conj!. Mercury, ruler of 4th in the 2nd!. Seems I tend to prefer shades of red!. Most of the colour accents in my home are red!. also lots of lighter natural wood, floors are all hardwood, so it works well together!. With ruler of 4th in the 2nd, at least it doesn't look like a bordello or anything like that in here though, lol!. It's tasteful!. Libra is on my 4th house cusp!. I have themes in each room!. like kitchen is sunflowers!. My living room is earth tones with flowers around the room to brighten it up!. My bedroom needs work i haven't found a theme for it yet :P well my bathroom is suns and moon with purple and blues!. I got suns and moons scattered around my house on the walls and stuff too!. I collect them!.

I have capricorn on my 4th and neptune in capricorn on the IC!.

What do I say, my bedroom looks clean and tidy , but my desk looks like a mess , there is book all over the place , open ones, close ones , with sticky notes hanging left and right !.!.!.!.lol!.!.!.!.

But apart from that, things are simple and practical , no sassy, showy decorations!. Things are where I want them to be ( except for my desk of course, lol)
