It kind of depends on what the planet in question is, what the aspect is, and also the strength of the planet which is aspecting the planet in question!. If the object in question is a minor influence to begin with, and the object aspecting it is also a minor one, then yeah, it's going to hold less significance!. If however, the object is a stronger influence in your chart to begin with (say for example your Sun, Moon, chart ruler, or ruler of your sun sign), or the object which is aspecting it is strong in your chart (such as the above listed objects), then that planet is going to hold more significance in your chart!. Well, the fact that it is not aspected except for one other planet is significant in itself, and as no belief required said, it depends on what the planet is!. A minimally aspected moon would be more significant in interpretation than a minimally aspected Neptune or Pluto!.
I would worry about an unaspected Sun or Moon, especially in the 12th house!. It might indicate a lost or very lonely soul!. An unaspected Neptune in the 12th would be an okay thing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Danger, you seriously sent me on a quest today!. Go look at the question and answers I've received about my new found unaspected Sun in the 12th all thanks to your question, and Janet's answer!.
It largely depends on what planet you're talking about, and the aspect!. If it is even a real aspect, and not simply an angle!. For instance, the only aspect I have to my Sun is Sun sextile Midheaven!. MC is not a planet, but a point in the chart!. Thus, I have an essentially unaspected sun!.
