I'm very open-minded in what I look for in partners!. I've dated a wide variety of guys - from a conservative marine to a radical hippie to a traditional momma's boy!. Ultimately, the connection is based on chemistry and a few underlying commonalities:
Ambitious - They have to desire to serve a purpose in life!. I don't care whether they want to run a company or write a novel, just so long as they're driven!.
Intelligent - I'm an intellectual who enjoys discussing a variety of topics!. I don't want to compromise this just to have a conversation!.
Wit - Someone who appreciates and harnesses understated humor!. I also need someone who's going to call my bluffs and challenge me!.
Athletic - I'd rather have someone who enjoys physical activity as a passion rather than a means to an end; in other words, a rock-climber is sexier than someone who's a slave to the free weights!.
Spontaneous - If I want to pick up and travel or move, I want them to support me in that!.

The following standards can never be met!. This person is basically a fantasy person!. A real partner has real flaws, and that's part of why we love them!.

Intelligent!. Someone I can talk to and never feel bored!. Someone who will get up in arms about politics with me and tell me about a great article he/she read!. I want a partner who will continue to teach me things!.
