My Scorpio sun is in both 12 and 1, but I believe only slightly in 1!.
In house 12 is also Libra and Mercury; however Mercury may also be slightly in 1
In house 1 I have Scorpio with Neptune conjunct ascendant!. I believe my appearance leans towards demure!. I can be both outgoing and shy!.
also, my moon is in Gemini, so my reactions tend to be outgoing!.

My Capricorn sun is in the fourth house, as well as Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune!. im sorta like you, i can be so outgoing and just as reserved!. it all depends on the people ill hang around with or talk to!. i dont share the same level of outgoingness with every person i know, even if theyre my friends!. so just to sum it up, i understand why im so cautious!. and i am, always have been, maybe because of my chart and the way i was raised!. My Sun is in Gemini and in the 12th House, close to the 11th House but I find both interpretations appropriate!. My ego fades when I'm around my friends and I can be myself!. Otherwise when I'm around people I don't know/uncomfortable with, I'm quiet and try to stay out of the spotlight!.
My Moon is in Taurus, in the 11th house!. I have a lot of moody friends and I tend to stick with the friends I've had since the beginning!. I don't really react much to shocking events, I just observe and depending on the situation I might react!. Such as if it's a fight, I'll most likely get involved!. :)
