Question: Scorpio moon, mothering, and security!?
The moon is said to express our subconscious, what we need to feel secure and nurtured, and what our mother (or those that mothered us) was like!.

A lot tend to be loners!. Not that fond of becoming parents either!. They have enough of themselves to deal with; they do not need the added responsability to care deeply for another ( not meaning it in a bad way by the way!.!.!.they just tend to carry some kind of wound that is why)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Learn about the eighth house!. Just generally, like what are the things involved with any eighth house!? Sex, occult and any knowledge that happens to be esoteric, death/rebirth, other people's treasure, what people give to you and what you give to others, going deep (research comes from this house and the sign Scorpio)
Now the moon is emotions and emotional security!. Look at the things that an eighth house deals with and match that up with how a Scorpio Moon might use it to feel emotionally secure!.
I have a Moon in Scorpio and my mother is intense and quite open about her jealousies and vindictiveness!.
Now I know this is not the time for it (since you might feel like I'm overloading you with info) but Western astrology, the popular kind that you and Danger are probably using, is way off when it comes to signs!. Sidereal astrology, I found, is the real stuff!.
This is why Danger's moon is in Aries but his mom is nothing like that!.!.!.!.instead she's not at all aggressive!. This is because it's possible his moon is in Pisces!. So mom could instead be sensitive and receptive, maybe even artistic!. That's because his moon is NOT in aries, but Pisces!. This is how Sidereal works!.
The reason I'm letting you know, is because you too may have mistaken your own moon sign!. It could probably not be in Scorpio, but in Libra!.

The mother or early home life is likely to be difficult on some level--how vague!. Even if that is not true the child may sense resentment from the mom and/or decide she isn't all she cracked up to be!.

yeah i agree with danger, my mother is a needy piscean at times, but i love her to death!.!. i am also a scorpio moon and this makes me feel secure!.
Although, when i was little we had a rocky upbringing, and my mom would cry so i never thought of her as stronge and pulled away from her and my cancer sister is more like my mother!.
i still love her to death!.

My mother was the only parent I ever had or known for that matter!.!.!.!.this is probably why I have issues with men!.!.!.~sigh~!.!.!.and love!.!.!.~sigh,again~!.!.!.lol!.
My mother was always like a superwoman for me - I never had a father and never really missed not having one in my life - I always trusted in my mother - she was always there and without question she did what she needed to care for both of us as best she could! I never felt like anything was really missing!.!.!.!.!.but when I became a teenager and then a young woman - that missing interaction with a father type figure really showed! It still does to some extent! I am stubborn about love! I know that I can make it in this life without a man!.!.!.!.!.the need/want to feel loved and have a healthy loving relationship is very desirable to me but I won't give up anything for it! I am who I am and I am proud of the person I have become - so many men would rather me change in some way - I see no need for it if they truly loved the person that I am!
As a parent myself, I tend to follow in my mothers footsteps in the way that I raise my son - lol - after all I think she did a great job - lol - I turned out just fine - lol! She only ever had two men in her life (that I knew about) - I respect her heaps for that - I never looked at my mother as though she were easy or trashy! I will hopefully do the same for my son! I go out on dates from time to time - never anything very serious - but they do not come to my home nor do they meet my son! I keep my family life and most of my social life seperate! This does make it a little difficult with dating and meeting people - but my family and home is far more important to me! I don't mind! My son doesn't have a male role model in regards to a father figure!.!.!.!.but I do have friends and nighbors who have sort of adopted us into their families - lol - so now he has lots of little cousins and uncle to play with and look up to - lol! I think and am hoping that my son will have better luck than I did in terms of love and romance - maybe since he is a boy being brought up by his mother that he will learn to value and appreciate women when he is older!.!.!.!.while I had very little interaction with male role models as a child I do have a few issues with men and tend to fall for the wrong type of guy! :) Hopefully I will be able or manage to break this cycle with my son!.!.!.!.hopefully he will have better luck than I did!
