Yes, you do have to hustle a bit of you want to support yourself!.
Finding clients is tricky!.
If you want to try and support yourself, you should expect to write a few books that get your name out there!. People like Robert Hand or Steven Forrest or Liz Greene all support themselves I am sure, with a long backlog of reading requests, but all three of them have published books about astrology!.
I make a point of putting myself out there in my town!. I teach a beginner's astrology series of classes, attend monthly meetings of local astrology groups, etc!.
You would also have to become fairly proficient in chart reading so you wouldn't spend too much time per chart!. The slower you are, the less you make!. And you should plan on doing recorded readings for a lot of people you will never meet, via "mail order" or "internet order!."
Ergo!. a website would be useful!.!.!. and business cards!.

And lots do not consider it that seriously!. They make an appointment and forget all about it!.
And once when I asked for a deposit : somebody replied : I will bring the deposit with me when I come lolololol !!!! ( I tried to explain the obvious of course!.!.!.!.!.in vain!.!.!.the person did not turn up)
Was a mind opener though!. You see so many different people and lots of them confide in you what they would not to the whole world!.

I suppose some make good money now!.!.!.!.!.!.website, own pages, advertisements!.!.!.but I see that many sound kind of dubious though!.!.!.not very ethical and try to sell you other things : jewellery or special dates, pay extra for your special numbers etc!.!.!.I would not trust those who promise that a pendant with a 3 leaf clover will bring you fortune on a special date just for you !!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm sure it is in some ways!. I don't think astrologers make tons of money I also don't think anyone puts a gun to a person's head to make them buy a chart or book!.
I think there's more money made from Anti-Astrology books and websites!. Just imagine the books, t-shirts, coffee mugs, jewelry, and other trinkets that can be bought at the Anti-Astrology links which are given in NON-answers in this section!. They are making millions by pretending to give answers on here and then slide that link right in with their answer!.
