It truly depends on how long we had been together, if you mean from the very start of our relationship and we were truly serious about each other up to engagement I'd say 2 years, just because I want everything to be in order before I go off getting engaged!. I see engagement as a trial period kind of, so I can make sure we can handle a higher level of commitment before I go and make a lifelong commitment, because I'm only marrying once no matter what happens!.
