this is what squares are for, to help us learn and decide! since the sun and ascendant has a lot to do with our personality, its trying to fuse 2 completely different signs together, squares can either make or break individuals, it depends on the person on what choices they will make, the right one or the wrong one!.!. theres a lot of room for improvement and opportunities!.

No, actually this person would have a lot of issues with expressing themselves as they truly are!. When the Sun is in negative aspect to the Asc it indicates a person who has a hard time being themselves, usually in affairs related to the Sun's placement in the chart by sign and house!. These people are usually misinterpreted or some how other people do not perceive them as they truly are!. Squares are usually bad!. So, if your sun, your core, is clashing with your outward appearance!.!.!.I'd say no!. You don't change easily, in fact mostly they probably aren't that great!. THere is a schism between their inner self and their personality that comes out with friction!.
