I've read several books on palm reading!.
I read that a broken life line does not mean you have a short life, it means that an event will occur in your life, either good or bad, and your life will completely alter ( Like a lotto win or divorce)!. You can determine if it is good or bad by looking at other lines in your hand!.
You are suppose to read both hands, The hand you write with is the your dominant/major hand!. The major hand tells more about the future/practicalities in life, while the minor hand reflects on the past/inner emotions!.
The life line usually starts somewhere above the thumb, heads down towards the wrist and ends somewhere along there!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Okay, first off- read your right hand!. The left hand should be read too, but only for serious readings!.!.!. i hear!. I only read the write hand though :]
Second, The life line begins above your thumb, kinda!? Like, its that line that curves around your thumb!.!.!. & it doesnt start at the side that beings at the wrist!. It starts at the top!.!.!.
& if it is broken, it all depends!. If there is a square around the broken line, it means that you'll be protected when you really need it!.
Otherwise, if there is a broken part- it usually means you change your outlook on life!. But like sometimes the breaks are caused by a relationship breakdown or a health issue!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
