Question: Would placement or aspects indicate abstract thoughts and ways of expression!?
Would it be the Mercury sign!? I know someone who I am utterly intrigued by because she is so abstract and poetic with the way she thinks and talks!. She is always calm, even in the most difficult and tense of situations!.
She makes you think deeply about what she says and she's never straightforward!. She has a calm demeanor and she's doesn't let harmful remarks hurt her!. She has Cancer Mercury but I don't think that's the reason for the weird but beautiful way she expresses herself!.
Oh and she's my mother, lol!. Gemini Sun, Capricorn Moon mother!. I consider her a sage haha!. She speaks slowly but I still can't keep up with her!. I hope I'm making sense!.

Omg hon, neptune is um, illusion and abstract very much and , um, in 1st house and stuff, that would indicate them abstract thought, not uranus!.

I think that the moon/rising sign would!.
If you have an Aquarius moon I think you would have no facial expression or just a few!.
I know a few people with an Aquarius moon that just seem too confused and unable to express themselves throught the face!.
Capricorn moon/rising seem to be the same way,too!.

Does she have Uranus Ascndent!? What are the aspects to uranus!? That usually comes with eccentricity!. I dont think it's her cancer mercury either!. i will come back to answer more

Funny you should say that!.!.!. a psychologist recently described my way of speaking, and by association my train of thoughts, as very abstract and that people need to keep their thoughts with me and working at high speed (and that would be why people don't understand me)

What's abstract for normal people is normal for them!. Third house is the house of thought and mind, and speech!. Mercury is the planet of the same thing!.
I have mercury conjunct uranus, and Aquarius third house!. I'll let you draw the conclusions, but to be honest what that psychologist told me made absolute sense to me!.
So, look at the third house and mercury, look at the third house's ruling planet, see which aspects mercury makes with other objects!. If your answer isn't there you could consider whether you might the the only one who finds her way of thinking abstract, or is it everyone!?
